Rachel S. Kronowitz

Rachel S. Kronowitz  is a founding director of Reneo Consulting LLC.  She has more than 30 years of experience developing innovative solutions to her clients’ “bet-the-company” problems.  Rachel has worked with companies of all sizes and from a variety of industry sectors, providing critical analysis and strategic advice during times of corporate transition or financial distress.  She has worked with corporations and financial institutions to develop innovative financial instruments to address unique risks and financial needs.  She recognizes that just because “that is how it is always done” does not mean it is the best way to accomplish her clients’ goals.  Her negotiating skills have led to results that recovered billions of dollars for her clients.  An indication of her success on her clients’ behalf is that many of them have been with her throughout her career.  In addition to her work, Rachel is passionate about social justice issues and helping those who are underserved in her community.  Her community involvement includes serving as both Chair of the Board of Directors and as a member of the board, of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation.  She also is a member of the Board of Directors of Equal Justice Works and a former trustee of the Jewish Council for the Aging.  Rachel is an active participant in the Georgetown Day School PSA.  Rachel received her B.A., cum laude, from Smith College, an M.A. from Columbia University, and her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.  She is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia.
